My Fax always adds the "1" value in front of the phone number. I have tried everything to change it, but it still does the same thing. What can I do?

From what it seems, your fax machine has been configured by its developer to work within USA. The "1" value is the area code for US phones and fax numbers. In order to solve the problem, I suggest you check the user manual of the fax machine or to contact its manufacturer.
If you plug into the router with a cable you'd have a full 100 Mbps cconention, there's either a cconention (or a faulty cable if not signal strength' doesn't come into it with a cable If the distance is long, or complicated router, then another option would be to consider powerline adaptors (try looking on Amazon for Solwise 85 Mbps adaptors) and the data goes over the mains wiring in the house. It's a neater solution if there is a long cable run to make the cconention, and you can add more adaptors if you ever add more PCs, and now you can even get some ADSL routers with powerline cconention built in. Has great reliability and security too wifi can be received by neighbours.VA:F [1.9.20_1166](from 0 votes)
